You can place the HD monitor in a convenient position, take images and videos, and go over the results later with the patient or colleagues.

Bioplastic material has a lower carbon footprint
Advancing the area of sustainability is one of our company's four strategic pillars. One tangible example of how we are innovating in this area is by introducing the use of bioplastic material in our aScope 4 Cysto, aScope 5 Cysto HD and other endoscope handles. The ABS plastic used in the handles emits 70% less CO2 than handles made from purely fossil-based ABS plastic.* From the user’s point of view, there will be no difference in the look, feel and performance of our endoscopes.

* The 70% reduction in Co2 emission only refers to the bioplastic in the endoscope handle, not to the entire endoscope. Based on cradle-to-gate LCAs on the raw material from the supplier. The LCAs compared ABS plastic made with 100% fossil-based feedstock with our new bioplastic ABS (which consists of 50% second-generation bio-based feedstock and 50% fossil-based feedstock).
